Entry forms are available now on the Canterbury club website for the next two rounds of the NZ Tour, which also includes the South Island champs and South Island summer series rounds 17 & 18.

Lake Rotorangi Invasion

Taranaki Jetski invites everyone to join us for our next social ride. Lake Rotorangi Invasion. Our stunning lake has been out of action all summer but is now back ready to have some exploring!

PLAN: Camp Friday, Sat night 16th-17th Glen Nui camp all are welcome to join us there is no power available and there is only toilets no showers { camping is free }     

There is plenty of room with nice shade from the sun. Good flush toilets, however a shower would mean a cake of soap in the lake !!

SOCIAL RIDE:
WHERE: Glen Nui Road Boat Ramp
WHEN: Sat 17th Feb 2018
TIME: Meet at 10am – Bums on seats 11am

This is a relaxed stress-free ride and all passengers are welcome aboard. On a Yamaha FXHO 1800 you will use around or just over half a tank of gas. Supercharged skis if you are powering, you may wish to strap on a little extra gas.

INVASION!? let’s make this a big turn out and explore all shoots including a tramp around the walking track for those who have the adventure side to them.

# Jetski
# Full tank of fuel
# Life Jacket
# Snack/ lunch and a drink to have on arrival at the other end.
# Booties/Walking shoes are always a great idea

An easy BBQ and Drink will be held once the skis are back on the trailers. [FREE for members $5 pp for non-members]

# Life jackets are Mandatory
# Abide by Maritime NZ and Marine rules, any local bylaws, along with all the rules, regulations and laws laid down by Taranaki Jetski

Remember
# Keep to 5 knots [a fast walking pace / 9.25km per hour] within: 50m of another vessel and structures & 50 of a person in the water
# Stay from the middle of the lake to the right-hand side when possible at all times.

Entry Forms and payment must be received prior to January 12th. There will be a $100.00 late fee for any entries or payment received after this. Entry Forms can either be completed online and emailed to maggie@wjsc.co.nz or be sent via post to:

NZ Tour Rounds 3 & 4 Update

NZJSBA is thrilled to announce that R3 & R4 of the NZ Tour will be hosted by WJSC in Porirua on 20-21st January 2018. With the best Elite Runabout and Ski racers in NZ already committed to the event, it will be a key competition in the build up to NZ Nationals (March 2018 in CHCH).
